BUSINESS SUMMARY
SMTC Corporation (SMTC) is a mid-tier
provider of end-to-end electronics manufacturing services
(EMS), including product design and sustaining engineering
services, printed circuit board assembly (PCBA) production,
enclosure fabrication and systems integration and comprehensive
testing services. SMTC facilities are located in the United
States, Canada, Mexico and China. SMTC's services extend over
the entire electronic product life cycle from the development
and introduction of new products through to growth, maturity
and end-of-life phases. During the year ended December 31,
2005, 48% of the Company's revenue was attributed to the industrial,
34% to the enterprise computing and networking and 18% to
the communications industries.

revenues increased 16% to $69.5M. Net income totaled $2.8M,
up from $951K. Revenues reflect increased sales from Canada

lower variable compensation and the presence of $1.6M recovery
